About the role
The Catholic Religious Education Coordinator provides religious education classes, recruits and supports volunteers, and coordinates administrative tasks in accordance with Catholic Church requirements.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to teach weekly religious education classes
- Schedule and facilitate teacher training events
- Support local Vacation Bible School programs
- Maintain official records as required by the Catholic Church
- Provide administrative support to chaplain(s) and volunteers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively with chaplains and volunteers
