About the role
The Nursery staff cares for infants and toddlers who are 2 years old and younger. We maintain a small adult to child ratio.Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers.
- Follow curriculum and grading guidelines provided by Regina Caeli Academy.
- Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members.
- Organize daily activities to support the development of infants and toddlers.
- Have a deep love for babies and toddlers.
Requirements
- No certification or formal teaching experience is required.
- You will be taught everything you need to know.
- Experience with babysitting, childcare, parenting, homeschooling, or working with homeschool children, ministry in your Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching your own children, or teaching in a classical or private school is beneficial but not required.
- A love for babies and toddlers is required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organization.
- Timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
Skills
- Ability to work with infants and toddlers.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Patience and empathy.
