Catholic Nursery Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a part-time caregiver for our classical and Catholic Nursery at our location in Mechanicsburg, PA for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position is hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach everything you need to know about the curriculum and grading guidelines provided by Regina Caeli Academy (RCA).
• Prepare for classes at home according to RCA standards and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment.
• Follow and implement our lesson plans.
• Be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 3, 4, or 5, 2026 (TBD) prior to working in the classroom (8am-5pm; no childcare provided, nursing babies always welcome).

Requirements

• No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required.
• The right applicant may have experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children, ministry in their Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school.
• A deep love for the Catholic faith is essential.
• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.

• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.

Mondays and Thursdays between 9:15 am - 4:15 pm.
