Catholic Elementary School Assistant

About the role

The role involves assisting in a classical and Catholic classroom at Regina Caeli Academy in Carrollton, Texas, during the 2026-27 academic year. This position does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience.

Responsibilities

- Assist in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. - Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment. - Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. - Complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Requirements

- Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. - Have a deep love for the Catholic faith. - Be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 10, 11, or 12, 2026, from 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills. - Good organization. - Timeliness. - A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. - Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to your state in life.
