Cathode Maintenance Technician HN

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on large-area coater and associated systems (vacuum, power, cooling, control).
• Ensure safe and proper use of industrial and mechanical tools.
• Execute detailed preventive maintenance procedures, including scheduled maintenance days requiring 12+ hour shifts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
• Aid with general plant equipment maintenance as needed.
• Generate maintenance reports and documentation using basic office software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• High standards for safety, quality, and professionalism.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• One of the following: Minimum 4 years’ experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or production environment, OR 2-year Technical Degree/Certification in Engineering, Science, Math, Vacuum Systems, or related field.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
• Capable of maneuvering heavy parts and materials, with or without assistance.
• Able to use hand tools and material handling equipment safely.
