Cath Lab Technologist - Full Time

About the role

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for experienced Cardiovascular Technologists to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The schedule is 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with required night and weekend call coverage.

Responsibilities

• First assist supporting physicians at procedure table for cardiac caths (diagnostic and intervention)
• Ability to scrub into procedures
• Peripheral procedures (diagnostic and interventions)
• Pacemaker insertions
• Assist the Physician during procedures
• Analyze hemodynamics and EKG
• Remove sheaths
• Use sterile technique to set up laboratory

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required
• Completion of a certified vascular technician program preferred
• CVT, ARRT, RTR, or LPN certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous Cath Lab, IR, or critical care experience highly preferred
