Cath Lab Technologist - CV Specialist (In House Traveler)

About the role

This position is responsible for the technical application, scrubbing cases, assisting the physician during cardiac catheterization procedures performed on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to determine appropriate patient treatment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to HHS policy, procedures, values, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span.
• Absess data reflective of patient status and interpret necessary information to identify patient requirements based on age-specific needs.
• Provide care as described in unit policies and procedures.
• Primary focus includes:
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Balloon angioplasty and other interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• IABP, temporary and permanent Pacemaker, and ICD Implants.
• Cardiac Cath Lab radiographic application.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: AART, RCIS, BLS, ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Schedule

The position is a 13-week assignment.
