Cath Lab Technologist - Bonus

Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orienting new staff and students.
• Operate imaging equipment and interpret EKGs and pressures during procedures.
• Support physicians as a scrub tech and circulator, monitoring patient status and handling supplies.
• Transport patients, maintain sterile techniques, and prepare the lab for procedures.
• Manage inventory and supplies, troubleshoot equipment, and understand medication use.
• Ensure post-procedure safety, maintain hemostasis, and monitor patient recovery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a science or related healthcare field, or comparable experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire or ARRT and TX RT(R) credentials.
• Knowledge of invasive procedures, equipment operation, and patient care protocols.
• Ideal candidates demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
