About the role
Join our Heart and Vascular team as a Cardiac Technologist, performing vital cardiovascular tests and procedures to support life-saving diagnoses and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures using advanced imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
- Understand cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, X-ray techniques, and both routine and emergent cardiac care.
- Utilize various equipment and software, including Cardiac, Vascular, and EP systems (XPER, CUPID, GE, Siemens, Phillips).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care across diverse populations.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience.
- Expert knowledge in cardiovascular technology, pharmacology, and cardiac rhythm management.
- Preferred certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 12 months of hire.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months; PALS preferred if applicable.
