About the role

Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology training to function independently during cases without a preceptor while using proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording.

Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and hospital employees of all areas.

Responsibilities

• Function independently during cases without a preceptor while using proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and hospital employees of all areas.
• Perform essential Interventional Radiology tasks independently.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Record and maintain accurate procedure data.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program.
• ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license.
• CPR certification.
• Two years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Actively taking call.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks required for the job.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
