Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Requirements

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent imaging certification.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience for Tech role.
• RN candidates should have 3 years of nursing experience with Cath Lab exposure.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• State licensure as required for practice in Illinois.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record preferred.
• Experience with sheath management, TR band placement/removal, line securement, and recognition of cardiac rhythms required.
• Experience with circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP) and familiarity with interventional procedures (stenting, thrombus extraction, TAVR, structural interventions) preferred.

Qualifications

• Full time pay and benefits.
• Assignment Details: Hospital, Days shift, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 4x10 schedule, Adult inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiac services, 12–15 procedures per day, Hybrid OR procedures included, 1:1 monitoring in lab, Multidisciplinary team members, Floating within the hospital as needed.

Skills
