Cath Lab Tech (RCIS)

About the role

Perform invasive cardiac, vascular diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases using advanced imaging and monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, X-ray techniques, and cardiac care protocols.
• Manage pharmacologic treatments and their effects on diagnostic tests and exercise performance.
• Operate specialized equipment and software, including GE, Siemens, Phillips systems, and EP devices.
• Work effectively with diverse patient populations, including children and geriatrics.
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered cardiovascular care in a team environment, utilizing technical expertise and effective communication to support diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience.
• Expert knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, pharmacology, and cardiac rhythm management.
• Preferred certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• ACLS and PALS certifications are also preferred.
• Ability to adapt to patient growth and development needs.
