**Cath Lab Tech (R)

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for procedures.
• Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Assist in the training of new staff.
• Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Pay

The current compensation range for this role is $45.30 to $47.85 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
