Responsibilities
- Performs the various duties related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including scrubbing in, monitoring, and circulating.
- Completes and analyzes data from procedures.
- Provides direct patient care.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or Paramedic program.
- Experience: Two years of pre-hospital experience as a Paramedic (Hospital based experience is preferred), or prior Cath lab experience or training as a CVT. Be a graduate from an approved invasive Cardiovascular program and be registered or scheduled to take the registry within 1 year of hire.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Paramedic Specialist or CVT. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office – basic computer skills. Customer/patient focused. Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.

Schedule
- Shift: 7:00AM-5:30PM 4 days per week, Monday-Friday- day off variable, on-call requirements include 1 night per week & once every third weekend.
