Responsibilities
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment accurately and safely, maintaining radiation safety practices at all times.
- Acquire and document digital images as per the required standards.
- Set up the cath lab room, including equipment checks and supply stocking, to ensure readiness for procedures.
- Set up and operate contrast injectors.
- Provide basic support and workflow familiarity with IVUS / ICE.
- Assist with device support, including IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
- Manage access sites post-procedure, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Document procedures accurately, using systems-based charting.
- Follow strict infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Ensure patient safety, privacy, and communication in procedural settings, fostering a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
- Demonstrated proficiency in fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety practices.
- Experience with digital image acquisition and documentation.
- Familiarity with cath lab room setup, equipment checks, and supply stocking.
- Proficiency in contrast injector setup and operation.
- Basic support and workflow familiarity with IVUS / ICE.
- Experience with device support, including IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
- Proven ability to manage access sites post-procedure.
- Experience with systems-based charting and procedure documentation accuracy.
- Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
