About the role

The Cath/EP Technology Intern will function in a learning environment provided by the Cath or EP lab team to become competent and proficient at radiological skills specific to a cardiovascular radiology specialty.

Responsibilities

• Function in a learning environment provided by the Cath or EP lab team to become competent and proficient at radiological skills specific to a cardiovascular radiology specialty.

Requirements

• Meet the requirements of senior student status as established by their academic institution.
• Provide proof of enrollment in an accredited radiology technology program.
• Be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit/dept.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide care needed as described in the departments Standard Operating Procedure Manual.

Qualifications
