Cath Lab Angiography Tech - Cath Lab
About the Role
We are seeking an Angiography Technologist capable of assisting physicians during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants. The role involves operating various types of radiographic equipment to complete work competently, efficiently, and on time. You will also assist with patient care and safety in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment.
If employed in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will be responsible for rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Perform radiographic work using different types of radiographic equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in a competent, timely, and efficient manner.
- Assist with patient care and safety in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab.
- Participate in rotating call for emergency procedures (30-minute response time if in the Cardiac Cath Lab).
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
- Current certification with ARRT in diagnostic radiology.
- Current State of Ohio Radiology license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification (required within six months of hire).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of recent hospital angiographic interventional experience.
