Catering Warehouse Assistant

About the Role

Groovin' Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, is seeking a part-time team member with the potential to transition into a full-time position. We specialize in delivering fresh, chef-crafted meals and seamless service for corporate functions, weddings, and social events. Responsibilities

• Organize and stage supplies and equipment for catering events
• Load box trucks and vans with staged supplies, ensuring correct items are loaded and properly secured
• Communicate with service and sales departments on supply issues and coordinate substitutions
• Confirm returning items from events are clean and in good working order, then return them to the warehouse
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse, ensuring equipment is protected and stored properly
• Handle miscellaneous tasks such as picking up linens, filling up gas in trucks, or making emergency supply runs
• Occasionally deliver simple catering orders and assist with minor event setup

Requirements

• Warehouse or similar experience preferred
• Previous catering, event, or hospitality background a plus
• Knowledge of catering terminology a plus
• Able to frequently bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience using hand trucks or pallet jacks
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Availability on weekends

Pay

$15-$17/hr, depending on experience
