Catering Server – Ninfa’s Catering Team
About the role
The Catering Server delivers polished, professional service at both on-site and off-site events. Responsibilities include event setup, buffet and passed service, guest interaction, and event breakdown.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, including buffet lines, beverage stations, and décor placement
- Provide professional, attentive guest service at corporate, university, private, and community events
- Execute buffet service, tray-passed appetizers, and beverage service as assigned
- Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout events
- Absorb event breakdown, equipment loading, and cleanup
- Represent the Ninfa’s brand with professionalism and positive energy
- Work collaboratively with catering leads, drivers, and kitchen teams
Qualifications
- Previous serving or catering experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume event environments
- Reliable transportation to travel to event sites across Houston
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must meet motor vehicle record (MVR) standards if assigned driving responsibilities
Compensation
Part-time, event-based scheduling
Evening and weekend availability required
Events may include early setup or late-night breakdown
Competitive hourly rate
Participation in event gratuity pool (where applicable)
