Catering Manager

About the role

The Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all catering functions at Barclays Center, ensuring that all services meet guest expectations and profitability. This role involves managing team members, maintaining high standards, and building strong relationships with clients and guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all catering services exceed guest expectations
• Sets up and manages catering facilities
• Communicates client needs to the catering sales and culinary teams
• Develops location-specific food and wine knowledge
• Holds team accountable for service quality
• Supports and communicates company initiatives
• Executes required daily reporting and department reports
• Trains and develops team members
• Interviews, hires, and develops new team members

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred
• High level of computer literacy
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
