About the role
Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork. Strive to provide guests with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of customer service.
- Serve food to guests with a high level of customer service.
- Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
- Assist with preparation and set-up of event rooms when necessary.
- Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
- Ensure health codes are followed.
- Prepare food and beverage for customers.
- Follow all rules and regulations for serving alcohol.
- Shop for backstage and green room items that have the highest quality; no bruised fruits or vegetables. Communicate items that are unavailable.

- Ability to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.
- Work inside or outside of the building as needed by events, including parking lots and exposure to adverse conditions.
- Daily lifting up to 20 lbs.; constant reaching, stooping, standing, and walking.
- Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
