Catering Event Server

About the role

Suser Restaurant Group, comprised of Sparkies Kitchen & Bar, Stella's Table, Union 212 Banquet Hall, and Street Side Cafe in the lakes area of Oakland County, is seeking a team member with a personable demeanor and a passion for customer service. This role assists the kitchen and service staff to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen and service staff to optimize guests' dining experience.
• Set up and break down chairs, tables, and buffet areas.
• Prepare the front line with equipment, plate ware, and smallware needed for service.
• Load and unload plates, silverware, and other service equipment.
• Serve courses, clear dishware, and attend to guests' dining needs.
• Keep serving stations restocked throughout the event.
• Maintain guest tables and serving stations according to client specifications and procedures.
• Assist other catering staff as needed.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Experience in the food service or hospitality industry.
• Organized with an eye for detail.
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Able to work on your feet for 8 or more hours.
