Catering Attendant (On Call)

About the role

We are seeking on-call Catering Attendants to deliver and serve food at various functions, ensuring accurate execution of events under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, delivering, and setting up food and supplies
• Setting up tables and decorations
• Serving food and beverages to guests
• Maintaining food temperatures and cleanliness
• Cleaning and breaking down event areas
• Returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility
• Driving a delivery truck (when required)
• Maintaining a friendly, courteous demeanor and ensuring a clean, safe environment
• Following sanitation policies and food safety standards

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a food handler’s or alcohol server’s permit where required by law
• Valid driver’s license (may be necessary)
• Prior catering experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with an emphasis on safety, sanitation, and customer service
