CATERING ATTENDANT (ON CALL)

About the role

CulinArt Sector is seeking immediate hires for on-call Catering Attendant positions at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. Applications can be submitted online. Schedules are on-call and days/hours may vary based on business needs. An internal employee referral bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
• Areas of responsibility include assembling and delivering all food and supplies for catered functions, arranging tables and decorations, setting up and serving at functions, cleaning event areas, returning leftovers and equipment to the catering facility, distributing and collecting customer comment cards, stocking and maintaining the catering facility and equipment, ensuring guests receive friendly, courteous service, maintaining in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous banquet, bartending, and catering experience required.
• Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Pay

$20.00 per hour to $32.00 per hour.
