CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About the role
Fresh Ideas is hiring for full-time and part-time Catering Attendant positions at Carson Newman University. Online applications are accepted only. Schedules vary and more details will be provided during interviews. Prior catering experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
- Areas of responsibility include assembling and delivering food and supplies, arranging tables and decorations, serving food and beverages, cleaning up after events, returning leftovers and equipment to the catering facility, distributing and collecting customer comment cards, stocking and maintaining the catering facility and equipment, ensuring guests receive friendly, courteous service, and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
