About the Team
The Indirect Procurement (Manufacturing) Team oversees global supply for indirect materials and services required by our plant sites. This team is responsible for developing supplier and commodity strategies to optimize cost and supply while mitigating risks, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving sustainability, quality, and other initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop category strategy for all high-value spend in respective Indirect Procurement categories.
- Develop sourcing plans and negotiation strategies aligned with overall Procurement categories.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (plant buyers and Procurement operations team) to drive implementation of plant/facility services and contract labor procurement strategies.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and negotiate all supply contracts with vendors, including timely renewals aligned with Procurement strategies.
- Align performance metrics with suppliers and conduct supplier reviews to measure performance against contractual commitments.
- Develop and recommend alternate sourcing options to mitigate supply risks, lower costs, and expand revenue opportunities.
- Oversee the bid process for assigned functional areas according to established guidelines.
- Lead all process improvements in the respective Indirect Procurement space.
- Assist in researching materials, goods, and services that would improve plant productivity and/or lower costs.
- Formulate and manage cost savings and innovation proposals both internally and externally.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in indirect procurement, with a focus on manufacturing services, facility services, and/or contingent labor category management.
- Procurement experience within roofing plants, paving industry, refinery, or manufacturing company is preferred.
- Advanced negotiation skills and contract negotiation experience.
- Strategic mindset with a bias toward execution.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay
Base Salary Range: $120,000–$165,000. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, education, and qualifications.
