Key Responsibilities
- Own category or brand performance, including P&L management and growth targets
- Develop and execute strategies across pricing, assortment, promotions, and merchandising
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and drive decision-making
- Build and manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and joint business planning
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and operations to deliver results
- Identify and launch new products or initiatives to accelerate category growth
- Continuously optimize the customer experience while driving commercial outcomes
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in category management, brand management, or similar commercial roles
- Strong blend of analytical skills, business ownership, and vendor interaction
- Experience in ecommerce, retail, or related category environments
- Demonstrated business acumen across pricing, assortment, promotions, and P&L ownership
- Proven ability to manage vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of turning insights into action
- Success operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling new or emerging brands or categories
- Exposure to supply chain, forecasting, and inventory planning
- Track record of launching new products or go-to-market strategies
- Background in tech-enabled retail (e.g., marketplaces, DTC)
- Strong operator mindset—able to execute, not just strategize
- Comfort with ambiguity and using data to guide decisions
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment
- Demonstrated success in growing revenue or improving category performance
