Position Summary
The Category Management Associate will be responsible for executing business strategies that support the Breakthru Beverage vision and initiatives while working closely with cross-functional partners. A primary focus of this role will be leading and supporting resets in large, high-volume chain accounts, ensuring strong execution and alignment with customer needs. This role will also contribute to the development of category assortments, sales-driving concepts, key items, and promotional strategies that reflect brand priorities and deliver value to both customers and suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily merchandising of new accounts, store resets and remodels within the beer and non-alcoholic category as it relates to Category Management functions and activities.
- Create shelf schematics for new and existing retail outlets and key retail chains.
- Engage sales teams to identify brand/category opportunities within accounts.
- Analyze brand trends for the use and creation of shelf schematics, floor activation plans, and overall account insights for new and existing retail outlets and key retail chains.
- Assist on sales calls for new and existing accounts for the purpose of shelf schematic proposals and market analysis.
- Work with key independent and chain retailers to determine brand/category opportunities and develop action strategies that align with retailer's overall strategy, while also aligning with suppliers' objectives.
- Maintain data information sources which align with category management output processes.
- Analyze retail sales data & Nielsen/IRI data to determine actionable insights.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in related area
- Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Be 21 years of age, with a valid Nevada driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.

Compensation
- $25.59/hr
- Mileage Reimbursement at 70 cents per Business Miles driven
