Category Lead

About the role

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive category sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Drive supplier selection and qualification processes through RFI/RFQ activities, ensuring alignment with technical, quality, and commercial requirements. Lead contract negotiations and establish OEM Supply Agreements and/or Distribution Agreements with suppliers. Manage and execute supply chain initiatives focused on cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field with 5+ years previous experience in category management.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Understanding of medical devices and industry regulations.
• Willingness to flex work hours as necessary to engage with global teams and supply partners.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field with 5+ years previous experience in category management, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Understanding of medical devices and industry regulations are also required. A willingness to flex work hours as necessary to engage with global teams and supply partners is preferred.
