Category III nutrition services employee at Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion Elementary School

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to the planned menu; operate equipment and ovens as needed.
• Maintain daily records of food production; maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Complete daily set-up of school food; provide materials and supplies as needed for the menu items.
• Service as cashier for student and staff lunches; assist students with technology support for cashier functions; communicate with students regarding balance of funds available.
• Serve food to students according to menu and guidelines; remind students of meal options; assist students with special needs.
• Clean all kitchen equipment according to sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• To perform essential functions, knowledge of commercial food service equipment is required.
• Ability to maintain records is required.
• Ability to operate computer/cash registers is required.
• Able to verbally communicate with co-workers, students, and staff is required.
• Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner is required.

Essential Knowledge/Skills Required

Required License/Certification

Required Education
