Data Gathering and Manipulation

Data gathering and manipulation. Knowledge of data analytics tools and data analytics in a specific commodity/category. Critical thinking skills to connect the category data to the business.

Knowledge Development

• Develop knowledge of supplier through mentoring.
• Develop supplier relationships management and engagement methodology.
• Develop an understanding of supply market trends.

Technical Understanding

• Work with engineering team to develop understanding of technical drawings/grammar and learn the language of the business/category.

Project Management

• Develop project management skills to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel 10-20%.

Standout Qualifications

• Internship experience or previous experience in supply chain.
• Category sourcing experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
• Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

Working Conditions

• The role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
• Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
• Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
• Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range

$57,600.00 - $90,400.00
