Category Analyst – IT Applications (6 months contract)

About the role

Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) is seeking a Category Analyst – IT Applications for a 6 month contract. This role is part of a global, centralized category management function that manages a common global sourcing function for datacenter- and campus-infrastructure for the Telenor Group.

Responsibilities

• Price analysis and cost modeling
• Demand planning with regular follow-ups of function/ budget owners
• Supporting RFQs and negotiations with global vendors
• Supporting the team with other tasks including strategy development and implementation

Qualifications

• Academic understanding of relevant business subjects (e.g. procurement, supply chain)
• Academic understanding of relevant technology subjects (e.g. applications, Cloud services, End-user-compute product, AI/ML)
• Bachelor/master level education with at least some subjects within economics, statistics, math or programming/modelling

Skills

• Good communication skills
• Experience with key tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Pandas (Python)

Pay

The role is offered on a 6 months contract with the possibility to extend until 12 months.
