About the role

We are currently looking for a Catalan Teacher for a one-to-one general language course in Boston, United States. The student is at an elementary level, aged 18-24, and wishes to start as soon as possible.

• Total hours: 30
• Session length: two hours
• Location: 02111, Boston
• Schedule: once per week on a weekday evening after 6pm (may vary slightly based on distance from the student’s work and apartment)

The student lived in Barcelona for a year, learned some Catalan through introductory classes and workplace interactions, and now wants to continue learning to maintain that connection.

Requirements

• Be a native Catalan speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of Boston, MA

Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance, part-time position
• We are not able to sponsor visas
