CAT Scanner Technologist WOW, Weekends, Days

Responsibilities

• Work on weekends (WOW position): schedule includes every weekend (Nights – Friday & Saturday, Days – Saturday & Sunday)
• Earn premium pay in addition to competitive hourly rates and shift differential
• Utilize imaging, computer, and other equipment to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality
• Prepare patients for procedures, educate them, and address questions or concerns
• Ensure age-appropriate communication, safety, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development
• Apply understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques
• Oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training
• Opportunities for career growth and cross-training in various modalities, including Computed Tomography (CT)

Qualifications

Required:

• State Radiography License AND must obtain ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) within 1 year of hire
• OR Temporary State Radiography License AND must obtain ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT) within 1 year of hire
