About the role

Operates CAT (Computerized Axial Tomography) scanner to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing patient’s illness. Coordinates the scheduling of patients with departmental staff and participates in all activities related to performing this procedure.

Requirements

  • Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program required
  • Registered by ARRT; CT certification or within 180 days of hire
  • BLS required

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements include successful completion of an AMA approved Radiology program.
  • Must be registered by ARRT and hold a CT certification or be within 180 days of obtaining one.
  • A current BLS certification is required.

Skills

  • Proficiency with CAT scanner operation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
