Summary

The Driver’s main priority is to transport Ohio Machinery's general construction equipment to and from customers and/or other locations via tractor-trailer. As a team member of the rental department, the Driver will ensure the completion of Rental agreements and inspect the equipment before delivery and upon return.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• A strong working knowledge of all rental equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to remain professional with language and tone and demonstrate high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers.
• The Driver should be open-minded, focused on customer needs, cooperative, able to work with a team, and flexible.

Minimum Skills And Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a clean driving record, less than 4 points, a Class A CDL License, and a current Medical Certification Card.
• Prior experience as a truck driver is highly desired.

Physical Requirements

• The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing on and off delivery vehicles and into machines will be required.
• The functions of the position require normal dexterity and repetitive, as well as frequent, movements that involve the hands, wrists, and fingers.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
