Salary: £12.71 per hour
Reporting To: Retail & Stock Manager and Retail Supervisor
About the role
We are looking for a retail assistant to join our team on a casual basis and play an important role in supporting the club’s continued growth and success. Working within a fast-paced professional football environment, you will contribute to delivering high standards across the club while helping create an environment where players, staff and supporters can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service and product/promotion advice
- Support purchases and resolve queries, escalating where needed
- Operate POS systems and process cash/card payments accurately
- Promote offers and merchandise to support sales targets
- Keep displays and retail areas tidy, safe, and well-presented
- Assist with merchandising and promotional setups
- Replenish stock and move items from stockroom to shop floor
- Prepare stock for match days and report shortages to supervisors
- Support retail operations across match day/event periods
- Manage queues, work flexibly across sites, and help deliver a great supporter experience
This role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across the club in a dynamic sporting environment where flexibility, teamwork and professionalism are essential.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and match days
Desirable
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Experience using till or point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of the club and its products
