Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance, initiate disciplinary actions, and prepare and complete performance evaluations for personnel.
• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and ongoing evaluation of outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks and interventions are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
• Function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
• Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen.

Schedule

Hiring Casual/PRN/Per Diem Registered Nurses on all shifts. PRN employees must work one weekend per month (2 shifts), two additional shifts, and a summer and winter holiday, totaling four shifts per month.
