Casual Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

About the role

Enjoy independence and flexibility in the field to provide care for patients in their home environment. This position will work in the field helping patients in their home setting. The office is in Roseville, MN and the service area is the 11 counties of the Twin Cities Metro Area.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for treating impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function under the direction and supervision of a qualified physical therapist.
• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.
• Provide services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
• Complete and submit timely, legible, accurate, relevant and sufficient documentation addressing the treatment and interventions provided, the patient's response to the treatment and interventions, and the patient's progress toward goals in accordance with professional standards of practice, policy and procedures, and payer requirements.
• Counsel and educate the patient and the family, and other caregivers to promote patient progress toward mutually established goals and in meeting healthcare related needs.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Minnesota. License is active and in good standing.
• Two (2) years of experience as a PTA.
• Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly Pay Range: $31.40 - $37.44
