Casual Food Service Associate

About the role

We are looking to add a motivated Casual Food Service Associate to our healthcare & food service team in and around Pittsburgh, PA (Allegheny General Hospital). As a Food Service Associate for Elior North America, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, learn a variety of skills, and interact with a diverse clientele daily in a fast‑paced environment. This position has the potential to be converted to a full‑time or part‑time permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, serving and distributing food, and may require working in various areas of the department, such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.
• Assisting as the Cashier, working in the Dish Room & Utility/Sanitation, and as a Dipper.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Prior food service experience is preferred (nice‑to‑have).
