About the role

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of the educational programming as well as day-to-day care.
• Accommodate and develop the children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational needs.
• Engage and inspire the children every day, ensuring they are safe, supported, and forever exploring to learn new things.
• Drive the children’s learning and development through the principles, practices, and outcomes of the My Time, Our Place Framework.
• Maintain vigilant supervision and ensure safe and inclusive learning environments for all children.
• Develop positive and trusting relationships with the children and their families.
• Assist children with learning, extend on their interests, homework, sports, and arts, as well as create a nurturing and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• No qualifications required.
• Approachable, friendly, warm, and always have a can-do positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Sound working knowledge of the Service Philosophy, Policies, and Procedures.

Skills

• Positive and supportive attitude.
• Ability to maintain vigilant supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
