Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed - activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and toileting
- Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community
- Possess a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
- Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friend’s Approach to dementia care
- Continue learning and improving skills while maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
- A commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity)
Benefits
On-call and temporary employees are not eligible to participate in employee benefits or insurance plans.
Schedule
- Day: 6:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
- Evening: 2:00 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.
- Overnight: 10:00 p.m. – 6:15 a.m.
Pay
- Minimum 4 shifts per month to remain PRN, prefer 8 – 10 shifts per month
- Wages $20.50 per hour to $24.16 + differentials (if applicable) per hour
