Job Description
UNSW School of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking qualified individuals for casual teaching opportunities. The School teaches a large number of tutorials and relies on both full-time staff and casual academics.
Responsibilities
- Tutorials in First Year Mathematics
- Labs, Demonstrations, Marking Duties
- Combination of the above
Requirements
You will be contacted to present a short Demonstration Tutorial to a small group of staff members if your skills, qualification and experience are suitable. You will be asked to solve and explain the solutions to two problems, one from first year algebra and one from calculus.
Qualifications
Applicants who are qualified may be engaged to undertake tutorials, labs, demonstrations, marking duties or a combination of these.
