Job Summary
As an employee at Harlow's Casino Resort and Spa, you will be an ambassador of southern hospitality, crafting moments of joy for guests while thriving in an environment that values your creativity, dedication, and professional growth.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify the amount turned over to you from the preceding shift.
- Verify all money in wrappers to assure accuracy.
- Get identification before running checks through the check cashing verification system.
- Cash personal checks and make change.
- Cash in chips and cash in NRT receipts.
- Keep your drawer locked to maintain the integrity of the money for which you are responsible.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Read, analyze, and interpret common documentation.
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the staff.
- Write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
- Perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cage cashier, cashier in retail or banking, or other money handling experience.

- Office/Casino environment; Must be able to tolerate casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise levels, and stress related to serving customers in a high pressure fast paced environment.
