CASINO PORTER

Responsibilities

• Cleans all floor mats
• Sweeps and mops all kitchen floors to remove food, debris, and grease
• Cleans behind and under all equipment
• Maintains hood vent system and ovens
• Cleans and sanitizes all garbage cans
• Maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed to perform job function
• Ensures the cleanliness of all floors, walls, dishes, pots, etc.
• Ensures “Wet Floor” signs and other markers are used
• Ensures kitchen workers have and use the proper equipment necessary for the job (e.g. gloves, goggles, cleaning solutions, etc.)
• Ensures that all equipment functions properly; reports malfunctions promptly
• Auxiliary duties as directed by supervisor
• Assists other outlets with cleaning projects or restocking supplies
• Auxiliary duties as assigned
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of six (6) months of cleaning experience required
• Familiar with the handling of cleaning solutions and compounds
• Familiar with cleaning all types of kitchen equipment
• Good verbal communication skills required; must be fluent and literate in English
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off
