Cashiers & Porters (Hiring all shifts)

About the Role

LV Petroleum is seeking friendly and efficient Cashiers and Porters to join our travel center in Norwood, MO. Walk-ins are welcome weekdays from 11am - 4pm at 741 ST HWY E, NORWOOD, MO.

Responsibilities

Porter

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas including restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal systems
• Assist in minor maintenance tasks and report any significant repairs needed to management
• Help set up and tear down for events or meetings when needed
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with inquiries as necessary

Cashier

• Greet customers warmly and assist with purchases and inquiries
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the POS system
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cashier station and surrounding areas
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and store policies
• Assist with restocking and inventory management as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in cashiering or customer service is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and transactions
• Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Dependable, with flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
