About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Cashiers & Porters to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional service at our locations.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Keep the cashier area and surrounding space tidy and presentable for customers.
• Stay informed about promotions and product offerings to provide information to customers as needed.
• Work with fellow team members to enhance service efficiency and operational productivity.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and restock items as needed.

Porter Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas including restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal systems.
• Assist in minor maintenance tasks and report any significant repairs needed to management.
• Help set up and tear down for events or meetings when needed.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with inquiries as necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cashiering or customer service is desirable, but not mandatory.
• Proficient math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Must be dependable and flexible, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A friendly and engaging demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
