Cashier - Weekday Closing

About the role

As a Cashier at Raising Cane’s, you will greet and assist customers, fill drink orders, work the drive‑thru, and play an essential role in the restaurant’s front of house. Cashiers guide the customer experience and interact with every guest, and can advance to roles such as Certified Trainer or cross‑train in back‑of‑house positions.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Filling drink orders
• Working the drive‑thru
• Cleaning tables, floors and other areas of the restaurant
• Taking orders and processing payments efficiently
• Following proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
• Multitasking
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Kneeling, bending, twisting or stooping
• Ascending or descending stairs
• Reaching and grasping objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Showing up to scheduled shifts on time

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Provide all customers with quick and friendly service
• Work together as a team, assisting other crewmembers
• Work under pressure and at a fast pace

Qualifications

Entry‑level position – no prior restaurant cashier experience required; paid training provided for all new hires. Previous experience in customer service, retail, restaurant or other service‑oriented roles is a plus but not required. Opportunity to advance to certified trainer or cross‑train in other positions. Within the first year you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through additional training, certifications and performance evaluations.
