About the Role

Our Sales Associates are the heart of the store, keeping it clean, inviting, and running smoothly for every customer. You’ll greet customers, run the register, maintain a spotless environment, and help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring age‑verification compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Deep clean high‑use restrooms.
• Wipe down and sanitize gas pump nozzles, screens, and water buckets.
• Pick up litter and trash from the floor and lot area; take trash to the dumpster in all weather.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full.
• Sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways for a clean, organized store.
• Cross‑train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays; flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules.
• Willingness to work hard, stay on your feet for most of the shift, and handle indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Effective English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lb and occasionally lift up to 50 lb.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and a criminal‑history background check.
• Personable, positive demeanor with strong customer‑service instincts.
• Detail‑oriented and reliable; punctual and trustworthy.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous retail or customer‑service experience is a plus but not required.

Pay

Starting rate: $11.00 per hour (actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and shift).

Schedule

Flexible schedules with both full‑time and part‑time positions available. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
