About the role

The Cashier interacts with customers in a retail setting, providing excellent customer service and handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with inquiries.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Ensure accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as directed by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as directed by store management.
• Manage customer returns as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Mental and physical requirements

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to work in a retail store environment.
• Irregular work schedule.

Educational and training
